NBA Champion Craig Hodges to Speak at Rock Valley College

Former NBA All-Star and two-time NBA champion Craig Hodges will visit Rock Valley College on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Student Center Atrium on RVC’s main campus (3301 North Mulford Road).

Hodges will be sharing his story as outlined in his new book, Long Shot: The Triumphs and Struggles of an NBA Freedom Fighter. This event is free and open to the public.

Hodges played in the NBA for 10 seasons and led the league in three-point shooting percentage three times. He won two NBA Championships with the Chicago Bulls (1991, 1992), and along with Larry Bird, he is one of only two players to win three consecutive three point shooting contests at the NBA’s All-Star Weekend, winning the competition in 1990, 1991, and 1992. Hodges has coached in the NBA and CBA, as well as at the college and high school level.
