The library is open Monday--Thursday, 8am-6pm and Friday 8am-1pm. All virtual services remain available.
Am I able to borrow items?
Yes! You can request items from the RVC Library, or request materials from other I-Share libraries if available. Once the items are ready, you will be notified via email.
Are all areas of the library open?
Yes, all spaces are open for student and community use. Study rooms will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Two study rooms will be available for those who need a quiet space to conduct Zoom classes or meetings.
Masks are required for all employees, students, and community members when inside any RVC building.
Is the library open to community patrons?
Yes, however, community patrons must sign in and attest that they are either fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have had a negative COVID-19 test within the past seven days. And masks are required for all people coming to the library including community patrons.
Students who use a study table or computer will be provided with sanitizing wipes to disinfect their work station once they are done.
Hand sanitizers will be available at the entrance to the library and ERC.
Additional cleaners will be utilized to clean common surfaces during the day.
What virtual services are available?
Virtual research help (via phone, chat, or Zoom) and databases including journals, eBooks, and streaming video are all available off campus.
