All prospective Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students are required to attend one of the Mandatory Admission Prerequisite Sessions (MAPS) to complete the required Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) regulations. The State of Illinois requires all nursing assistant students to have a criminal background check completed and fingerprints submitted before starting an NAD (CNA) course.
Sessions are offered in a video-format, which can be watched immediately, or a live-Zoom workshop, which is offered several times each fall and spring semester.
There are currently no on-site information sessions being held.
To sign up for a live-Zoom workshop, please complete the form below and choose a date. The Program Coordinator, Sheri Swanson will contact you through email prior to the Zoom-workshop date to send them the required link. If the session is less than 48 hours away and you have not received the link, please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org
