The Colored Pencil
 

(HS-Adult) Explore the history of the colored pencil and create your own pieces of work. You will be challenged to develop artwork that reflects your personal interests and emotions, and develops your critical thinking skills. A list of supplies will be given at the first class.

Studio Painting in Oil With New Energy
 

(Adult) Learn to simplify your process, as you create oil paintings with immediacy and freshness. Awaken your creative process by adding new energy to your landscape paintings. Work in the studio with photo references (your own or those provided). Tom will explain and demonstrate concepts and provide individual attention as you incorporate what you learn into your paintings. Leadership: The Journey Begins
 

(Ages 14-18) Do you know who you are? Do you know your strengths and weaknesses? Come start your leadership journey with us as we help you discover the best parts about you and how you can use that to assume a leadership role. This course includes a 360 Assessment as well as Action Plans designed to teach you skills necessary to make sure you finish what you start. This course is for grades 9 through 12 students who are looking to start their leadership journey.

Financial Fitness
 

(Adult) In our society, so many people have not seen the princi­ples of financial fitness modeled. In this course, you will learn the principles of financial success that brings true financial fitness. This course combines all three approaches:

1) Offensive – Making money

2) Defensive – Budgeting and discipline

3) The playing field – Rules and philosophy of money

This program is made for people in any stage of the financial spectrum – whether they may find themselves in thousands of dollars of debt to having sound finances, but would like to make their finances turn into stronger assets. Beginning Rock Guitar
 

(Ages 12-Adult) A class for total beginners. All you need is an acoustic or electric instrument and a desire to express yourself! We’ll start with power chords and the Blues and some Classic Rock to get you rockin’ in no time. You can start a band after completing this course!

Bring: Electric, acoustic or bass guitar, a lined notebook, pencil and a guitar tuner.

Note: Class may be repeated with new songs each semester.

(Ages 12-Adult) A class for those with a few songs and chords under their belts. We’ll start with some Classic Rock and build a repertoire of songs that every rock musician should know, and start building your lead chops.
