Community Education offers non-credit courses for hobby, leisure, and development. Courses do not earn credit toward college degrees and are not transferable.
Whiz Kids provides students in birth - 8th grade with a variety of academic enrichment opportunities.

We are seeking part-time adjunct faculty who are interested in developing & sharing their expertise with members of our community. Due to the nature of non-credit classes, instructors are not required to have degrees — just demonstrate expertise in their subject area.

Are you looking to make a big impact in a part time job? Our part time Whiz Kids Instructors will have fun teaching to groups of preschool, elementary & middle school kids.
Instructors should be looking for part time work, enjoy working with children and have reliable transportation.

SCHEDULE
- This is a part time job. We help you develop a class schedule based on your availability.
EXPERIENCE
- We are primarily interested in dynamic personalities who want to make a difference in a child's day.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be EARLY - Instructors are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled class time
- Be PREPARED – Instructors are expected to develop their own curriculum and lessons.
- (In summer semester, basic curriculum outlines may be available for specific subjects/topics).
- Be FRIENDLY - A smile and a healthy dose of enthusiasm go a long way.
- Be ENGAGING – RVC instructors engage students to THINK, LEARN and PLAY WELL each and every class.
SUPPLIES
- Instructors select and purchase the supplies they need to flourish in a program setting. All approved supply expenses are fully reimbursed.
