If you haven't applied to Rock Valley College yet, you can get signed up for classes in just five easy steps.

Fall 2020 Semester Instructional Plan

Rock Valley College will offer two primary modes of instruction for courses this fall: online and hybrid. The face-to-face portion of hybrid classes will include social distancing, and may result in reduced capacity to allow for six-foot social distancing requirements.

Getting Started Webinars

Meet the Rock Valley College Recruitment team and find out what it takes to become a Golden Eagle! Join us for an interactive webinar where you will get the opportunity to learn about the programs and services at RVC. All sessions will be followed by a Q&A session to address any questions you may have.

1. Apply for Admission

Apply online or pick up a paper form at the Information Center on the first floor of the Student Center on RVC's Main Campus.

2. Fund Your Education

Did you know half of RVC's students receive some sort of financial assistance (grants, scholarships, loans, or student employment)? Find out what's available to you.

3. Determine Placement

All new students must meet placement requirements in reading, English and math. You can do that by taking our placement test or by submitting ACT or SAT scores or prior college transcripts if you have them.

4. Visit Academic & Transfer or Career Advising

You'll meet with a helpful academic advisor to help make sure you are taking the right classes to meet your academic goals.

5. Register & Pay

It's time to go online and sign up for your classes. Use our handy web-based course schedule to look for classes that interest you.

6. Attend a Getting Started Center "Tech Connect Session"

This session will provide an introduction to utilizing RVC Online Services and the RVC EAGLE Learning Management Systems. Students must have applied to RVC and be registered for classes in order to attend this session.
