VA Education Benefits and COVID-19

The VA has done some great things to ensure that everyone’s benefits would continue uninterrupted despite the slightly rough transition during the Spring term.  In an ongoing effort to support students using VA education benefits, provisions have been made to extend Public Law 116-128 until December 21, 2021.  This means that certain courses that were converted from face-to-face to an online or hybrid format will still be treated as though you were taking the class “on campus”. You will see some differences in how courses are coded when registering for classes this Spring.  Courses with a section letter of F, H or OS will be counted as “on campus”.

Please contact Milana Herman at m.herman@rockvalleycollege.edu if you have any questions regarding your benefits and COVID-19.
