Institutional assessment depicts student learning and development across the college regardless of program/discipline of study. Assessment at this level includes, but is not limited to, measuring the Institutional Student Learning Outcomes (ISLO).
The four ISLO cover the areas of Analytic Reasoning, Communication, Global Awareness and Responsibility, and Personal Responsibility. Click here to find each of these individual categories described in greater detail. ISLO are assessed using authentic student writing samples scored with checklists. Results of ISLO assessment efforts can be found in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports on Assessment for Student Learning at the bottom of this page.
