If you are 18 by election day, an American citizen, and a resident of your voting precinct for 30 days, you are eligible to vote. If you are 17, but will be 18 by election day, you can register to vote and vote in the primary election.
In Illinois, individuals with a felony conviction are eligible to vote after completing their prison sentence.
